Theja Suranjan Dunusinghe is a rare breed of athlete — one who has dedicated his life to the ancient Korean martial art of Taekkyeon while simultaneously serving his nation as a Sports Officer at the Department of Sports Development, Ministry of Sports, Sri Lanka.
Since joining the Ministry in 2011, he has balanced the demands of government service with the rigors of international competition, amassing an extraordinary collection of gold, silver, and bronze medals across World Championships, International Championships, and the South Asian Games.
